We are on the hunt for a full-time West Coast Director to steer the ship with our new expansion into the West Coast! This role will position you to lead all of Alley’s entry efforts into this exciting new market. Meaning that you will be the catalyst to forging partnerships and executing initiatives that continue to strengthen our brand, our strategic relationship with Verizon, and ultimately enable Alley powered by Verizon to be positioned as the leading community that bridges the gap between startups and large enterprises. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the main point of contact between Alley and Verizon for all West Coast initiatives and objectives relating to, but not limited to: programming, local partnerships, technology trials, local brand growth, 5G engagement, and local marketing to ensure the objectives and needs of both partners are clearly understood, communicated, and executed upon
  • Work with the Vice President of Brand Strategy and local Events & Programming Managers to build a robust schedule of engaging and relevant programming that support Alley’s core business pillars
  • Secure local partnerships in the West Coast region based on company objectives with specific attention to building opportunities for revenue, strategic alignment with Verizon, and overall brand elevation
  • Strategize and collaborate with local teams in Palo Alto and Los Angeles to align initiatives in the West Coast region and facilitate opportunities for congruency
  • Perform consistent evaluation of local programming teams, in tandem with Vice President of Brand Strategy, by gathering, analyzing and interpreting data, metrics, and partner feedback
  • Create reports on a weekly and monthly basis on department outcomes such as, but not limited to: metric reports, financial reports, and post-event reports


REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years' experience of working at a Director of Programming/Events or other relevant Business Development positions
  • Exceptional organizational and leadership abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Well-versed in usage of Gmail, Google Docs, Google Spreadsheets, Powerpoint, Keynote, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to initiate tasks and perform duties without direction
  • Strong knowledge on current cultural, technological, political, and pop culture trends that can enhance programming content and brand messaging
